George's Auction Service is dedicated to providing a simple, fast and convenient way to sell items on eBay, Craigslist, Amazon or other online marketplaces.
How it works: Customers bring in items that they would like to sell. Digital photographs are taken. Text is written and an attractive, detailed listing is placed on eBay or any other online selling site. George personally tracks the auction, answers questions from prospective buyers, processes payment, packages the item, and ships it to the winner when the auction closes. Seller can easily track the listing as well. Once an item has been sold, payment is collected and the item is shipped to the winner. At the end of the month a check is cut to the seller. If the item doesn't sell, it can be relisted as often as seller desires.
This service offers:
Convenience - Most items we pick up and hold for sale. We do all the photos, writing, listing, email and phone call answering, payment processing, packing and shipping. Positive feedback - Feedback rating is imperative to bidder confidence. Our customer rating remains at 100% positive. Experience - We are experienced eBay auctioneers who know how to avoid phony bidders and online scams, and how to get the maximum dollar amount for your items.
Your Cost: A basic listing includes a 7 day auction on eBay, along with a Gallery photo(s) and descriptive accompanying text. Other eBay selling features may be added as appropriate - at an additional cost from eBay, at the discretion of the seller. The seller may suggest a starting or minimum selling price, though I suggest leaving that to the discretion of the bidders.
In addition to the standard eBay fees, the following service fees are charged by George's Auction Service. They are calculated based on the final selling price. If not sold, there is no charge by George's Auction Service, but eBay listing fees may be subtracted from seller's existing or future account balance. Fees are as follows: 30% of the first $200, 25% of the next $300, 15% of the remaining (over $500). These fees can be calculated on monthly account total to save you money if you are listing a large number of items.
The Auction Service fees DO NOT include the eBay fees and DO NOT include shipping, packaging and insurance fees (usually paid for by the buyer). All items not sold and not picked up within 15 days become property of George's Auction Service and may be sold to cover auction fees or donated to charity.
